Two Girls in the Star Chamber
Posted by: R. David on 03/08/2008 at 21:59
I now see two girls in the Star Chamber. They are side by side and are dressed in long gowns. They must be companions in the spirit realm. ( This is a new shaded version )

Let's not forget him even for a moment, as he gives us enlightenment into the spiritual domain. For through that door we must enter in due time.

It is difficult to follow the contour lines of the girl's dresses, but I think that I made some mistakes on my first shaded version. I have re-done it, and this version, I think , is better and more faithfully represents the two girls.

I would imagine that their dresses are of satin brocade, and remind me of ladies from the turn of the last century. One even seems to be holding something....a baby maybe....and they seem to be watching some event avidly. There may be another child at their knees.

I thought that the girl on the right ( our right ) may be holding either a bouquet of flowers or one of those Japanese fans. They are such little cuties and reminnd me of the candle girls that I capped close by a month ago. I remember that some of the recent investigations have heard girls talking, giggling in the Star Chamber. There seems to be a band of girls in there, and this cap seems to confirm that. big smile

These two girls in this cap remind me of porcelain dolls. These dolls were popular in the 19th century and reflect the dress and hair styles of the time. This one seems to resemble the time period of the Star Chamber girls.

I think these two are out for mischief - walking along the promenade with their parasols, sharing secrets about love and life! Very sweet.

Yes, it is nice to see these girls so close, you can tell by the way they are standing. I bet that they do share a lot of secrets, too, Gerry! big smile
